Soft colours...

Happy Australia Day everyone! Our beautiful China loves her comfort & this episode was no exception. This is my entry for the Scrappers Challenge over at The Scrapboxx. Criteria: 3 pics, stamping and paint, twine or ribbon, tag or journal block. I decided to challenge myself even more by using soft, pastel colours which I hardly ever use. I can usually complete a layout over a weekend, but this took me a week to complete (between working & other humdrum daily activities), and I think it was because of the colours and the design I used. It's not that it was difficult but I must have been in an indecisive mood all week & I kept coming back to it to shuffle things around. Anyway, once I bit the bullet & started sticking things down it came together better than I thought it would.

China is a bit of a princess, so I incorporated a few "girly" bits & pieces along with the pink touches. I think she'll be happy with it :)
