The Case of the missing Mojo...Chapter 3

If you are still reading my blog posts I take it that I haven't completely bored you yet so thanks for sticking around :)  But I promise this is my last post for the day. This is the last entry on my new-found Mojo journey and it is for a Challenge that I haven't entered in a very long time....SCRAP THE BOYS. While I was scouting around looking for the missing culprit, thinking that it may have been hiding in cyberspace somewhere, I happened upon this old favourite Challenge site and I liked their theme for this month:

Now I do like a good beach theme and I also have many photos to choose from. The photo I went with is of my DH whilst we were on a Resort holiday earlier this year. We had this beach almost to ourselves so I wanted to print it in an extra large size.

I cut some paper in curved shapes to overlay the photo to represent the waves. Note: he isn't really chasing the birds, he was just walking in their direction and they were a bit spooked - probably by the fact the he's carrying an umbrella....at the beach.....really?!!!  But it had been raining on and off quite a bit so we thought we'd take it along with us just in case.

I've used another Kaisercraft collection "Sandy Toes". The Flair buttons are from different companies and the bakers twine and metal star fish have been in my stash for yonks. I was meant to print the quote directly onto the photo but I forgot, but I quiet like the way it turned out. I used some adhesive-backed cork through the Big Shot for some of the words in the title and the branch.

Using a photo of this size still allows room for journalling as well as a few embellies.

Done and dusted! I'm so relieved to have found my creativeness again and I can only hope that it sticks around for good and doesn't leave me in limbo again. Thanks for following. Until next time...
