Playing with flowers Part 2...

Hello again! As promised I'm back today with my second design for SCRAPPERS GARDEN.  The colours in these flowers were perfect for the photo that I wanted to use. I also based my layout on a sketch from Sketchabilities on Pinterest where you can access all their previous sketches. This particular sketch is #112.

Thanks once again to Steve Hill for the "Stunning" photo, taken last year on their travels through Germany. I've used some lovely orange and peach coloured Scrappers Garden flowers as well as a couple of black & white flowers to tie in with the lovely pp from Kaisercraft.

I added some circles with texture paste and a few dimensional magic dots to give the illusion of water drops from the heavy fog :)

The little owl tag is from a pack that I found in a little gift shop in the UK last year.

Thanks again for dropping by & I hope you get to check out the Scrappers Garden shop very soon. I'll be back next Saturday with more flower inspo.

  2. A glorious page with the papers enhancing that stand out photo. Two words came to mind when I saw this on FB and you used them both on your layout. Love the little drops of dew (may have to borrow that idea!) The owl tag is the perfect finishing touch. It's amazing what scrappers find when they are on holiday! :D

  3. To use the word on your layout Jo , Stunning! You have really made your photo pop and showcased it so beautifully. I love how you have shaded the word and placed it across the photo. A beautiful layout
