Orange Paperie & Co April Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to the Orange Paperie & Co April Challenge, set by "moi" :) My challenge is "Circles & Flourishes", easy right!  So hop on over to the blog, get some inspo & have a go at it yourself.

Here is my inspo:

I've used lots of techniques on this page. The circles are made up of large chipboard cogs & clocks (distressed & inked). The background paper is Kaisercraft Base Coat and I've used a very sharp craft knife to cut & lift some of the paper to get a "lifting paint" look. The chipboard steampunk clock in the top corner (I've had for ages waiting for the right project) and the chippy title is embossed with gold powder randomly, the gaps are filled in with black ink & I've dabbed some copper metallic paint here & there to get an aged look. I love how they turned out. The remainder is made up of die cut cogs & tag (all painted), die cut branches and leafy flourishes, and I've added a few little flowers & leaves. The black tiny twine is from Craft Queen.

I hope you get a chance to play along this month. We have a lovely Guest Designer in Bec Timms, who will be sure to inspire you. Until next time....
