CSI #115 & Scrap365

Hello everyone. What a wet & windy start to the day, and now the sun has appeared & it's in the high twenties once more. Gotta love that! So here is my layout for Case File #115 at CSI and also my entry for the current sketch challenge at Scrap365.  Here is the CSI Case file and the Scrap365 Sketch:

I had a bit of a struggle coming to terms with this colour scheme I must admit, but once I had a good think about it, it all flowed very well. It was so good to do a "girly" page again. The sketch from Scrap365 was just the jumping off point I needed to get the mojo flowing. I've turned the sketch around to accommodate the orientation of the photo.

Here is what I created:

This lovely paper is from Prima Marketing "Shabby Chic Collection" which I've had in my stash for a few years, thinking it was too pretty to actually use!! But the colours were perfect for the Case File. It's hard to see here but the roses on the paper are a combination of crimson & peach.
Thanks again to Steve Hill for the photo which he took of my girl at Christmas on their visit to Cesky Krumlov, a beautiful World Heritage listed town in the Czech Republic.

I've painted the wooden word "happiness" in silver 3D paint, which is slightly glittery.  I hope you've enjoyed your visit today. Please let me know that you dropped by :)
