Perfect creating weather...

Sunday salutations everyone! And hasn't Sunday come around too quickly as has the middle of the year :(  Because of the rainy weather I was able to get stuck into the kits that I purchased at the Melbourne Expo. These kits are designed by the very talented Cathy Cafun and all the products are from Craft Queen
The thing I love about kits is that it takes all the guess work out of matching colours. Everything is done for you and everything is included. I've followed Cathy's instructions pretty much to the letter except for a few adjustments, but really you can play around with it and create your own version. Out of one kit I was able to make three layouts.

There is a lot of fussy cutting in the two feminine pages from this kit, but I think it's worth it when you see the end result.

I really enjoyed the tearing, distressing and random stamping that was required for this masculine page.

I still have lots of bits and pieces left over from the kit to make another layout or a couple of cards. If you happen to be going to the Brisbane Expo next weekend, call in and browse the Craft Queen stand or maybe do one of their many classes - you won't be sorry.  Oh, and tell Nicole and the girls that Jo sent you.

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by. Until next time.....
