OUT FOR PUBLICATION!
I found these song lyrics when I was searching the internet for another project that I had in mind. Isn't it always the way when you're not actually looking for something and when you come across it you know that it is exactly what you've been looking for?! I downloaded the beautiful butterfly from the internet (maybe from Percy & Bloom) & the little clock & anchor are significant to the story I wanted to tell.
This page was actually made for a challenge set by the lovely Julie Winks over at The Boxx. I was quite pleased with how it turned out & because it is so different to what I normally do, I decided to keep this aside & I made another one for the challenge. I really love this aqua/teal colour especially combined with the white. I thought it looked a bit whimsical especially when I added the muslin & feather. And of course you can't go past a bit of Prima :)
Anyhoo, that's my share for this week. Off to the big smoke next week - not for anything fun & exciting though - oh no, no, no - nothing like that :( Unfortunately DH will be undergoing well overdue surgery so I'll be hanging around a hospital (just to add to all the other major events happening in our household this year), so my creative juices will have to be put on hold for a little while :( So until next time - whenever that will be - happy creating.
What absolutely gorgeous layouts! Everything about them is awesome! WOW!!!!!! They both should be published!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth layouts are stunning Jo, I'm sure they will be published at some stage (mad if they don't). Love the colours and the flourish in your top layout and the butterfly wow! Your second layout is so soft, love the misting

Your pages are beautiful! That butterfly on the first one is striking, and I love the white feather that perfectly goes with the delicate colors and feel of the second page.
