Simply Chic....

Welcome back people! I want to share my layout for the April challenge at D-lish Scraps. When I saw the dreamy mood board for this challenge I just had to jump in and grab the "Just Add Paper" kit from the D-lish Scraps Store that is designed for this challenge. I just love these colours!

However I didn't stick to the rules because I added a touch of blue to my page only because it highlighted the colour of our feathered friend, so this omits my entry for consideration, but I thought I'd enter it anyway just for fun.

I added hidden journalling inside the little bag & I half cut the heart on the journal card so that it sits outside  to stop it from falling too far inside the bag.

The journalling reads "This is "Bluey" who started out as your classroom pet but now is a beloved member of your family. You have done so well with his training!"

I used some Ranger Crackle Paint over the title and some cute flair buttons :)

This particular Flair button isn't in the JAP kit, but it is one from D-lish that I've had in my stash for a while which goes perfectly with this theme. And of course it wouldn't be complete without a D-lish sequined bow.  So thanks for dropping by!

Kraft Plus April Challenge

Happy weekend everyone. I hope you are all having some creative time this weekend. Despite only having a few hours in my craft room today I really wanted to enter this month's challenge at KRAFT PLUS.  However, being short on time I wasn't able to create a layout as I originally planned but I have made a card for this particular challenge. Here is the prompt:

Black & White....perfect! So here is my creation. I firstly used a stencil from Echo Park with Whipped Spackle on the background along with a touch of black water colour.

Some little pearl flowers for the flower centres, black lace & pearls & a few die cuts. A lovely quick challenge for the time-challenged person :D    I recommend calling into the Kraft Plus blog to check out all the beautiful inspo. Thanks for looking xx
