After a fun (albeit short) weekend away, I haven't been able to get to my creation station, but I will post this layout I made a few weeks ago for Nicole over at Craft Queen . Pop on over and have a look at the yumminess in her shop! Everything on this page is from Craft Queen and I usually don't scrap about myself, but I have found of late that having more faith (in a greater being or whatever you want to call it) helps balance out the worries in life and I've really set my mind to being more positive and optimistic and not let my worries get the better of me. These days I count my blessings more often than not. So I did actually enjoy creating this rare page of moi :)
A couple of closies:
You can get your hands of some lovely little metal embellies at Craft Queen too. I love this little owl and clock. Thanks for calling in. It's much appreciated. xx

CSI Case File #90
I'm now on a roll and after a few days of procrastination about this challenge I finally finished it. Procrastination is a wonderful thing sometimes, I cleaned all the sticky off my acrylic blocks (well overdue) and browsed the net for quite a while for some inspo and moved things around on this page a few hundred times over a few days before settling on a design. If you are struggling with your mojo, pop on over to CSI: Colour, Stories, Inspiration because the range of talent in their gallery is nothing short of amazing. Here is the current Case File:
Fantastic colours, however having said that, I did struggle with them a tad especially the two different tones of orange. I hope you like what I ended up with. And thanks once again Steve Hill for the wonderful photo!
Lots of yummy embellies & washi tape from Craft Queen, Bo Bunny and Fancy Pants pp, and the writing on the little tag "Se enarmoro' de Barcelona" translates to "You fell in love with Barcelona".
Thanks for dropping by. Until next time....

CSI Case file #89
I nearly left my run with this one too late, but I managed to put my head down and bum up to get it in to http://csicolorstoriesinspiration.ning.com/ on time. I've had a few exciting scrapbooking commitments to get done so I'm running behind with the challenges. I really struggled with the colours this week - not my usual palette, but here is this weeks case file:
I really like the sketch, which was my motivation to enter this week plus I had the perfect photos that I've been wanting to scrap.
Thanks for dropping by :)

Orange Paperie & Co Sept Challenge
Hi all, don't forget to join in on this months challenge over at http://www.orangepaperieandco.blogspot.com.au/ Mary has given us a lovely Mood Board to take our inspo from this month.
You don't have to create anything about Paris - you can just use the colours or elements from the photos. Whatever takes your fancy! I just happen to have a lovely pic I took on our visit to Paris that I've been wanting to use for a while. My choice of pp was influenced by the blue/grey of the sky and buildings and the little lime green flowers are taken from the bright green of the trees. The frame around the photo I made myself with my Cricut, using plain white cardstock which I then misted and stamped. There's also a bit of background stamping.
The quote is from a novel called "The Paris Wife", which sums up my feelings about Paris perfectly :)
I hope you can play along this month. We'd love to see you over at Orange Paperie & Co.Thanks for dropping by xx

CSI #88
Yes, I know it's been a while since my last blog post, but I've been a tad busy with work, DT commitments & I've also started a Project Life album for DD's travel pics. I must say that Project Life is a bit of fun & very quick. Having said that, they have already been to six countries & I'm still only on the first one...a long way to go yet. So here is this weeks entry for challenge #88 over at http://csicolorstoriesinspiration.ning.com/
I've unfortunately missed the last few Case Files, but I downed everything today just so I could enter this one. Well why wouldn't you?! Look at the colour scheme! So here 'tis:
Click on the pic for a clearer look.
Sorry that the pic is a little blurry but I left it a bit late in the day for taking the photo :( TFL xx
